Your dentist believes you can benefit from an orthodontic evaluation. You can expect your initial visit to be a Complimentary Consultation (Free exam!). During your first visit, our orthodontist will review your medical history and take a look at your teeth to evaluate your overall oral health.
You will NEVER come in for an initial visit and leave our office with braces, ever. Promise.
If treatment is indicated, records- pictures, digital images, and scans-hyperlink to iTero scanner here (no impressions (yuck!)) may be done the same day. You will then be invited back to a consultation appointment so that we can review your specific treatment plan options and go over any questions you may have.
A lot of times, you may not be ready for any treatment when you come to your first visit. Or you may not need any treatment at all. Establishing a base line and monitoring patient’s growth (bite and alignment) is also complimentary. We monitor some patients for YEARS prior to any treatment.
The answer is "no". You may be surprised to learn that a referral is NOT required to visit an orthodontist. This means you can contact us whenever you are ready to schedule an appointment.
